The Richard Tauber Prize is open to singers resident in the United Kingdom or Austria.

Applicants should be aged over 21 and not older than 30 as on 12 March 2010.

Candidates are requested to prepare a choice of one operatic aria, a Lied by either Schubert    or Wolf, and a third piece of their own choice. The total programme should not exceed ten    minutes.

The closing date for applications is 12 March 2010.

All applications must be supported by two professional referees.

Registration fee for entry is £ 30.

The application form should be accompanied by :

Recent passport-size photograph

Copy of birth certificate

Typed CV (not more than one A4 page) with details of training, concert or stage    performances, scholarships or prizes

Personal letters of recommendation from two professional musicians
